At The Ribeye Club, we’ve curated the perfect menu featuring our Argentinian Grass-Fed Ribeye and a rich Chocolate Lava Cake. Add a bottle of red wine, and you’ve got an unforgettable evening for you and your significant other.
Main Course: Pan-Seared Argentinian RibeyeWhy Our Ribeye?
Our grass-fed Argentinian Ribeye is lean, tender, and packed with natural beefy flavor, making it ideal for pan-searing.
Ingredients (Serves 2):
2 Argentinian Ribeye Steaks (~270g each)
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and freshly cracked black pepper (to taste)
2 garlic cloves, smashed
2-3 sprigs rosemary or thyme
2 tbsp butter
Instructions:
1. Season: Pat the steaks dry and season with salt and pepper.
2. Sear: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks for 2-3 minutes per side until a crust forms.
3. Baste: Reduce heat, add butter, garlic, and rosemary. Baste the steaks with the melted butter for 1-2 minutes.
4. Rest: Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Pair with garlic mashed potatoes or grilled asparagus for a classic, comforting side.
Dessert: Molten Chocolate Lava Cake
A warm, gooey chocolate lava cake is the perfect sweet ending to your romantic dinner.
Ingredients (for 2 serves*):
70g dark chocolate
50g unsalted butter
some vanilla extract
1 large egg
1 large yolk
60g Powdered sugar
30g All-purpose flour
*double the quantities for 4 lava cakes
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven & Prepare
Ramekins:Preheat the oven to 190-200°C, depending on your oven’s heat level. Grease two 2 or 4 ramekins with butter and dust with cocoa powder.
2. Melt Chocolate & Butter:
Melt the chocolate and butter in the microwave in 1-minute increments, stirring between intervals until smooth. Stir in salt and vanilla, and let cool slightly.
3. Whip Eggs & Mix Batter:
Beat the eggs and yolks for 2-3 minutes until thick and light. Add the powdered sugar and mix until combined. Stir in the melted chocolate, then gently fold in the flour until no streaks remain.
4. Divide & Bake:
Pour the batter into the ramekins and place them on a baking sheet. Bake for 12-13 minutes until the sides are set but the center remains soft.
5. Cool, Invert & Serve:
Let the cakes cool for 2-3 minutes. Run a knife around the edges, place a plate over each ramekin, and flip. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with ice cream or fresh berries.
Wine Pairing:
A full-bodied Malbec or Cabernet Sauvignon will perfectly complement the ribeye’s rich flavor, while a sweet red or port will pair beautifully with the lava cake’s molten center.
