These Japanese Black Wagyu are born and raised in Kobe Hikami Farm in Hyogo prefecture.
Hikami Farm is the only farm producing wine Beef.
Wine is known for containing high levels of polyphenol . By adding fermented grape lees to the diet of the cattle we achieve reduced stress levels, better blood circulation and an overall improved digestive system.
The feed consists of grape lees, flaked corn, timothy hay and rice straw. Grape lees, a by-product of the local wine production is introduced to the diet of the cattle.
