How to Cook: Skirt Steak
(Grilled with Jack Daniel's BBQ Sauce)

Jack Daniels BBQ Sauce and Skirt Steak

The sauce ingredients:

• Jack Daniels, 1⁄2 cup
• 1 small onion, diced
• 4 garlic cloves, minced
• 1⁄2 cup whiskey, Jack Daniels
• 2 cups ketchup
• 1⁄4 cup vinegar
• 2 tablespoons tomato paste
• 1⁄4 cup Worcestershire sauce
• 1⁄3 cup brown sugar
• 2 tablespoons of liquid smoke
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt

Cooking the sauce:

1. In a medium saucepan, combine onion, garlic, and whiskey. Simmer over medium heat for about 7 minutes or until the onion is translucent.
2. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes.
3. Blend it all into a sauce and leave overnight in the fridge to settle, or just use it right away, it’s your call.

Grillign the steak:

1. Unpack and let rest
2. Serrate the meat
3. Season as you like, I just used salt on this cook
4. Heat up the grill to medium-high and cook for 3 minutes each side.
5. Baste in the BBQ sauce
6. Sear on high for 30 secs each side and enjoy.
