How to cook:
1. Defrost
2. Do not salt.
Place the fillets skin facing up and Grill / Oven (220C) at medium-high heat for 7 minutes
3. Let the fillets rest in your plate for a few minutes and enjoy your meal!
The beautiful Norwegian mackerel is rich in nutritious omega 3 fat. According to old Japanese tradition, the mackerel is fermented in a salt bath. As a result, the fish has become delicately soft and rich with taste. Shio Saba is best served with a hot bowl of miso soup. In summer shio saba is also perfect for the BBQ.
